GrassTrimmersForLess was started in 2007 by me, Michael Gordon. I’m an avid home landscaping buff that personally experienced massive malfunction with 4 different grass trimmers purchased for use on my home lawn during the summer of 2005. It was amazingly frustrating. Four trimmers, all junk.
For my 2006 season I made it a point to approach several local landscapers and describe my problem to them and ask what trimmer brands they prefer. Some were a little nasty and didn't want to answer, but those that did answer directed me to the big name brands (like Echo, Stihl, Redmax, Husqvarna, etc.).
I then searched for a local dealer for the big name trimmers. I ended up finding one a few miles out. As it turns out these quality brands are not readily available in local stores, and they are very expensive when compared to the junk that’s available in local stores! As a result l decided to look online. After several hours of digging online, I found some extremely low cost deals for these high quality trimmers.
Finding these products was very difficult and required advanced searching, which was something I knew the everyday home computer user wouldn't do. Being that I’m a computer programmer, I knew I could put together a nice little tool that finds these deals online at the click of a link. That tool is incorporated into GrassTrimmersForLess.com.
So Michael created GrassTrimmersForLess to automatically do the advanced searching for the user and find deals on the quality grass trimmers that are currently available for purchase.
